Snow Day-Night 2009

First off, we want to wish Allan's Daddy, John, a very Happy Birthday! (Yesterday) The whole family was supposed to join them at their church and then go celebrate at Fatz in Winder. But, Saturday afternoon, Nate & Alex decided to come down with a fever and it continued into Sunday. So, Allan & Seth got to join the festivities. The other 2 boys and myself stayed here and watched the snow fall. It was so pretty & there were flakes as big as softballs. I drank almost a whole 12 cup pot of coffee all by myself. You'd think I'd be wired, but I wasn't. Even though the boys had fevers, they were playing fine. So, rather than let them miss the whole snow day, we let them go out at 830 so they could play for a few mins. Alex's trip was rather short which is why he isn't in many pics. He didn't like the cold wind blowing in his face which really made me feel better about ducking out of the Boone Trip this year. I don't think anyone would want to listen to whining about something we have no control over. But, Seth & Nate loved it. Nate got to make his snowangel he kept talking about & we have plenty of hills here so we got to use the little sled we bought in Boone last year. It was so fun. You'll laugh when you see my get up... PJ Pants, Allan's jacket and boots that aren't made for snow. But, oh well it was fun. And, poor Seth... he doesn't have his own snowbib or boots, so we had to come up with the best waterproof outfit we could.
Enjoy the pics & stay warm! XOXO
