O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

I love putting up Christmas Trees. It's one of my most favorite parts of Christmas! This year, we have 2 live trees. The one in our Family Room is a Noble Fir and is decorated with all the ornaments the boys have made in school & Sunday school. The front living room is a Frazier Fir and has all the breakable ornaments on it that Allan & I have collected through the years. Both of the trees smell so good! There's nothing like the smell of a live tree....and nothing like the mess of taking one down! :) We have a skinny tree in our kitchen that I've labeled our Friends & Family tree. I like to display all of our Christmas cards from friends and family there. Everyone has gotten to where they send photo cards that don't "stand", so I think they look nice hole-punched & tied onto the tree with curly ribbon. I love to look at that tree & realize how much God has blessed our family with great family and friends. We cherish the relationship with each and every family member & friend that's represented on that tree. He has abundantly Blessed our family more that we could ask or imagine! Ephesians 3: 14-21 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
