So, yesterday, we finally closed on our new home. Lots of hoops to jump through and it was not smooth at all. We can tell you without a doubt who NOT to go to for a home mortgage. Ridiculous and very unprofessional. None the less, we closed the deal. The family we bought from were so nice. I hope they enjoy their new home in Hiawassee. We could not wait to get our hands on the house!! I think we made it from Duluth to Commerce in record breaking time. Went on out and cleaned up a little. We went back this afternoon for more cleaning. It's beginning to feel and smell more like our home. Can't wait to actually start moving furniture etc. But, first, we will paint and do a little more cleaning first.
